Between Us-A Night of Poetry by Ev Jambor // Theme: Remember To Feel
From @BloomersNYC: NEXT SATURDAY (Oct 24)— join us for one of our first events in the studio! Ev has brought together a group of local poets to read their work at the first installment of BETWEEN US— a bi-monthly poetry night hosted at bloomers.
This month’s edition, REMEMBER TO FEEL, will feature readings from Michele Ferlaino, Katie Hebert, Samir, and Han Schneider. The works selected by the poets serve as reminders of what it means to engage your senses, indulge your emotions, and be alive.
BLOOMERS is a new, queer-led space in Brooklyn, focusing on bringing affordable event and work space to our community.
Featured Poet at Hudson Valley Arts Collective
Through Hudson Valley Arts Collective, Katie will be the featured poet at the November open mic.

Hudson Valley Arts Collective is a community-driven space for self-expression and creativity—rooted in the heart of the Rivertowns.
We host a monthly Open Mic at 7PM at Ludy Café in Irvington, NY on the first Friday of the month (check out our IG for details), where writers of all kinds gather to share poems, stories, and spoken word in a warm, welcoming setting. Whether you’re reading for the first time or the hundredth, there’s always a seat and room at the mic for you.
Founded by local author Carolina Abreu, Hudson Valley Arts Collective began as a love letter to the place that raised her—and a response to the deep need for accessible, inclusive spaces where creativity and community meet. Especially for parents, working artists, and anyone who’s been craving a place to be heard.
